What I WISH I had during cancer

Over Christmas break, I thought a lot about a friend undergoing cancer treatments. It got me reflecting on my journey and the things that really helped me cope with the traumas and demands of multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, etc. The greatest asset during that whole period of my life was my meticulous notes and journal entries. The records I kept were my lifeline in the depths and darkness of mental health challenges and staying organized through chemo-brain. I had a notebook I kept notes of my appointments and treatments. I had a calendar I kept notes of questions I needed to ask my doctor as well as my schedule. I had my social media 'journal' that helped me record my day-to-day challenges and triumphs. I had little creative projects I took on to distract my brain from more painful things. Basically, I had several resources I used to keep me going. I always thought it would be really nice to have all of these things in one book. Drum roll please. . . . . Here it is. It took me nearly eight years to come up with it, but I finally created the Guided Journal Through Cancer. This journal contains everything I WISH I had in one place during my time with cancer.
The journal contains pages for notes about treatments and pages for appointments. There are pages designated for recording blessings, guided mindfulness pages, as well as journal pages. My hope is that the Guided Journal Through Cancer will help people through this unimaginable time.
The Guided Journal Through Cancer (aka Cancer Journal) has everything I WISH I had when battling breast cancer. In the first week of being released, the book reached #59 in Amazon's Best Selling List in the genre, which just made me so happy knowing others will be able to benefit from my experience.
