For the past 15 years, I have made it a tradition to hold annual summer Mom-Schooling. Each summer we have a focus and spend time challenging ourselves academically and creatively. I LOVE home learning and see the benefit in our family. When I started full-time homeschooling my five boys, I felt so overwhelmed with all the options. Despite having Mom-Schooled for several years, I felt a new level of pressure when it came to milestone learning and keeping kids 'on track' in case they chose to return to public school. There is so much out there, yet not enough of what I really wanted and needed. We created so many core memories while family-schooling. Each of my boys grew academically and we had fun together learning. Over some time, they chose to go back with friends at public school. I am now homeschooling my youngest. With one foot in the homeschool world and one foot in the public school system, I feel that I have a unique perspective in what is needed for the homescshooling family as well as those who do both. I just want to make momming easier, in whatever form you choose. All of the curriculum I make available on my Etsy shop was made out of want/necessity for my own family. If I needed it, there's a good chance others would too so I wanted to share. I hope my experience will help you in your own journey to raise awesome kids! It takes a village, right?
